Varanasi is well connected by air, rail and road, and reaching Shree Aksharam Guest House is straightforward once you know the lay of the land.
By train
Varanasi Junction (BSB) and Banaras (BSBS) stations connect the city to Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata and beyond. From the station it's roughly a 15-minute drive to us — take a prepaid auto or cab and ask for Jangamwadi, near Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
By air
Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (VNS) is about 25 km away, with direct flights from major Indian cities. A taxi to the guest house takes 45–60 minutes depending on traffic.
Getting around
The old city around the temple is best explored on foot — vehicles can't enter the narrow lanes. For longer trips to Sarnath, BHU or the railway station, autos and app-based cabs are easy to find. Our front desk can arrange a reliable driver whenever you need one.
Tell us your arrival details in advance and we'll guide you right to our door.
